Executive Summary:
Leadership Training Centre (LTC) is to be established in Melbourne to provide leadership and management training programs in the purpose of enhancing the performance of executives and managers as well as other participants such as business owners. The centre is to be in the CBD of Melbourne. While the training programs are to be aimed at executives and managers individuals will have the opportunities to participate. LTC will offer three different training programs, Communication Skills, Professional Leadership and Management Skills. These short training programs aim to develop the performance of executives and department managers through enhancing their understanding of leadership and management.
As LTC will establish itself as a knowledge creator to develop the human capital in organizations and community, it will also support its role in improving the community and local organisations. Further, the number of employees is to be eight; three administrative staff, four teaching members and the director.
The training industry has been evolving in Australia in the last twenty years. However, there are still relatively few opportunities for effective and practical leadership or management training, especially in Melbourne. LTC unique training programs will enhance trainees' understanding of leadership and management and, accordingly, improve their performance in the workplace.
An estimated cost of AU$ 691,983 is required to establish the centre. In addition to AU$ 655,392 required as an estimated annual budget of operating LTC.
